Hello, my name is Karissa Longpré and I am the owner of Fresh Start Bookkeeping. In 2001, I graduated university with a Bachelor of Arts, and began my career as a teacher. At the time, I was a mother of two, and eventually took some time off to stay at home with my young children. Upon returning to the workforce, I decided to venture into something that included my love for spreadsheets, budget management, administrative tasks, organization, technical and numerical proficiency, and analytical thinking. This led me to clerical work where I was able to rediscover my passion for bookkeeping. Since then, I have been taking the necessary training and steps to perfect my skills and prepare myself to run my own bookkeeping company. For the past four years, I have had the privilege to work alongside and learn from a Certified Professional Accountant, and have also obtained my Bookkeeping for Small Businesses Certificate. Fresh Start Bookkeeping is my vision of a new beginning, where I am able to pursue my dream occupation and serve those looking for a reasonable, reliable, and knowledgeable bookkeeper. My goal is to offer you the fresh start that you are looking for, whether that means providing you with efficient services, or simply meeting your needs in a friendly manner.
